Informal trials > F7s Committee > 2006 season kicks off early March 2006
With the PVP and Tri-Nations matches now over (minus the PVP Cup should it be played), the only matches left are for teams wanting to play some informal trials between now and when the season kicks off in March 2006.
These 'friendlies' are totally the choice of teams and their captains but please let antonius know so a referee can be assigned and let me or roosterboy60 know so a match thread can be set up.
Please note that only those informal trials which play by the F7s rule book will be recognised by the annual F7s committee to be set up later this month.
The F7s committee will be a temporary group and is made up of senior players and referees. The committee consists of 12 people from a wide range of views and representation the F7s. The identity of these members remains at their discretion.
The committee will vote on a few issues including any possible rule changes as brought up during the year by players in various threads. The nature of the draw for 2006 will also be discussed.
Last but not least, the list of teams who will be competing in the F7s in 2006 will be decided on - that is which teams will be issued with the invitations to take part in the F7s competition.
Please note that I don't actually vote unless there's a deadlock.
The committee will make all these decisions by mid-January afterwhich the committee will be disbanded for another year.
In my opinion, this is the best way to ensure cross-fan participation in the decision making while at the same time, making sure it all runs smoothly and without fuss.
