I am concerned about the amount of negativity on this forum.. For me the underlying factor is the unfair bias within the nrl salery cap guidelines.
We will get through this, support your club, try and enjoy your footy, and remember, the players, coach and staff feel the pressure to perform for the fans, if they feel the fans are losing faith, it can only end in a downward spiral.... As for the "Jobs for the boys" comments I keep hearing... These guys busted their ass for the Red V...

Coast, do you agree with any of what moving forward said in his original post? Imo, moving forward has either been living in a cave, or deserted island, or was deliberately trying to deflect any blame away from Mcgregor, and his inability to coach, by the comments he made.

Busting your arse as a player does not give you any entitlement when you are in admin or coaching.

St George has been a welfare centre for years for past players and sons of former administrators and whilst that lasts their will be no moving forward.

The facts are simply Bennett was an outsider and he achieved what none of the insiders were able to.

Whether he left the club in a shambles or not is another question but he was paid to come and win a premiership and he ruthlessly did it.

All the others are paid to achieve exactly that result and they have failed to do so and must therefore face the music.

We would all be happier if they admitted the truth and stop putting all this stupid spin on it.

And this is what has really infuriated me this week.

The spin was never more evident than in the members update we saw this week. After a week of fan uprising, that is all we've got.

Anyone think it coincidence such an update came out just ahead of the Newscorp poll?

The other 15 clubs also have to abide by the salary cap rules, they just don't apply to the Dragons.
And plenty of players "busted their ass" for the red v as well as many other clubs. The most important stakeholders, us fans, are sick of the piss poor excuses.
