Attack em down the wings, they do have a few weekend defenders on the fringe which i think we can exploit. The passing game of Anasta and Sherwin needs to be spot on however. Dummy half running is important, id use Utai and Harris out of the ruck position as much as possible

Forwards just need to hold their own. They need to be workaholics, Price and Norton in particular. Don't let Mason on til the 20th and then run him down the flanks at the tiring defence

Do this and we are a good chance

I would bet that Price is gonna take Wayne Bennet's origin coaching plans and just play the game simple and controlled like we did over the storm. I.e. you won't see anything fancy or creative from the dogs, we WILL grind it out with our forwards and probably do nothing much with the ball, but for bombs/ grubbers until we establish a lead.

I don't HONESTLY think that irregardless of how hard the Roosters come at us they could honestly out "tough" us. Like QLD in Origin 1 & 2 the Bulldogs should be concerned that the Roosters will start running around us Meli style, while we stick to the 4 hit-up formula, meaning they run through us and score points and we grind away for little gain.

Anyways don't worry 'cause you know Pricey and O'Meley already ARE work-aholics, I hope the Roosters do try to match us physically and play controlled football as it will be their downfall. We're tougher :twisted:

Our biggest worry is if Wing, Heggarty, Cross, and Croker do a lot of running at the line, making a lot of metres and potential breaks.

In short I'd say it's in the bulldogs best interest if this is a smash up, defence and forward oriented game as we should have the best of it. If it turns into a creativity-fest to see who can outscore the other I think our clumsy ball handling of the early season (which seems to intermittently return), and perhaps lack of confidence from the last 4 weeks may put us in trouble.

A forward has to be assigned the job of hitting Wing and after a few good ones he will pass more than usual
fittler-up and in. Turn him back in to the forwards
