What is your favourite Fitzy moment?

Sorry guys, am out of the loop on this but how is it that he is back?

I recall that he asked for a release to go to England to finish up with some extra dollars and WT granted it (despite imo having a reasonable season that year on the wing where he finished a few quite handily).

Historically though, his exploits at 5/8 were, to be honest, quite difficult to watch, as were his 2nd tackle sideways surrenders off Hodgson et al (dunno, maybe all that lateral nonsense gave the back row extra time to regroup lol).

A nervous, flighty player conspiciously scared of physical confrontation. Poor positional player, poor defender and poor mental attitude. Consistently let the team down. Through all the years he played at WT he stood out as not of first grade standard.

What is Sheens thinking?

Please tell me Fitz is only playing for match payments.

Fulton is apparently back also. How is he travelling these days and what are the plans (hopefully he has filled out and put on some size)?

On a couple of different notes, is the fullback question any closer to being resolved? Ditto the halfback question.

And what's the deal re Tiqirui? A once great talent but his last 2 years in Union were just woeful. As washed up as Roy Jones's Jr.

Say it aint so.

WT have the nucleus of top 4 easy. The mind boggles to think they might have secured Burgess and Carney (and maybe done some psychoanalysis on Collis and Heighington btw).

Final word - Fitzhenry is an appalling liability. A crabbing, stuttering reincarnation of Michael Hancock's long lost gay half-brother Derek.

Res ipsa loquitur,

Jase

No..no even close...i'm about 30 years too old to be playing in any position let alone on the wing...i'm just someone that's been a SUPPORTER of the Tigers (and co-incidently Wests as well) since the 60's and know that a real supporter doesn't stab any of their players in the back with the kind of crap i read on here, you guys just carry on like a bunch of 12 year olds and don't have 2 c worth of anything constructive to say..every club has them..know it all blowhards that are about as useful as cancer

Hello Mr Sheens - sorry that us "so called supporters" dared to question you - mediocrity is fine for us, really it is, you just keep doing what you have been doing since '06 and we'll be quiet and support you...

Oh yes the memories have come flooding back my greatest recollection of him is his speed and his great match races with his opponents the sheer speed he shows is phenomonal, the only thing he has a problem with is actually tackling the f######g opposition............yeah cant wait for the shiney fitz simmons show.......WTF!!!!

We conceded an average 28 points a match and you f**kers are worried about who drops off a tackle or two a match? FMD, i'd much rather a winger who coughed that up and yet contributed 6-12 points a match than a niff nuff like Ryan who is a regular in sides conceding f**k loads and watching the other team's lap of honour instead of doing something useful like... oh, i don't know... scoring?

Ryan scores more frequently than Fitzy

The stats actualy prove that point, Beu Ryan 22 tries from 40 Games and Fitz 43 tries from 119 games . But i honestly think Ryan created about 1% of his own tries were are Fitz made tries. Anyway as ive said before the club must surely have better options than both of them. They both have big weaknesses, Fitz in defence and Ryan in attack. It will be very interesting as i see them both as Teflons pets so we may see Ryan fullback and Fitz on the wing. :(

This is the real point. Ryan creates nothing. In fact, he just doesn't have the instinct required to even make the most of stand out play. I'll never forget Collis drawing two to lay up a flat pass with the expectation Ryan would be there to stroll over and the bugger was 10 metres behind the play watching.

I would predict this in Rnd 1.

1. Lote
7. Taumata
14. Fitz

Yeah, I hear Shannon Gallant's child has shown some promise. Get him in.

This is special. You guys haven't even watched the dude in the past few years. He could be the next Lockyer or have lost both legs and you wouldn't have a clue. It's even better than suggesting Flegg players that you don't even watch.

They might have watched him play in Super League
