calls in a player, 3 weeks out from the finals series and leading up to one of the most important games of the year if that finals series is to be obtained.......takes a player aside, singles him out after a prior weeks performance that, like most of his team mates was below par, and informs said player that there are other blokes in the team that don't want him in the side, so he better aim up this week.

what kind of ......? does that ??
