Mate - I have no faith in Collis either - Trust me - him going was the happiest day for a long time.

My view is we need experience and that least provides that.

Cant leave A out of the side and we are running skinny on the wings and at FB.

Personally I don't think Lui should be dropped. It appears he has been given f**k all freedom, but what he has done hasn't been all that bad imo

Picking Collis over Ayshford guarantees we will leak points with his slow, uncertain defence.

Just like we did every round before he hurt himself (About the only good thing Halatau has done all year)

Looks good but I'd stick with Ashyford. He was a little quiet last night, but I'd stick with him. Been pretty solid for us so far. Just needs an extra yard of pace.

Lawry too slow now - as super coach has him bulking up for the move into the back row.

Have you seen the size of his arse this year???

1. Tim Moltzen (sensational against the Sharks at fullback)
2. Rhys Hanbury (pretty sure he is faster than Aysford)
3. Blake Ayshford
4. Chris Lawrence
5. Beau Ryan
6. Benji Marshall
7. Robert Lui (stick with him, only 2 games not enough to see what he can really do)
8. Keith Galloway
9. Robbie Farah
10. Daine Laurie (stuff Gibbs, plus DL and KG on the field at the same time will make easy metres)
11. Gareth Ellis
12. Danny Galea
13. Todd Payten

14. John Morris
15. Corey Payne
16. John Skandalis
17. Chris Heighington

I would like to see Galloway and Ellis try to offload a bit more. And please god, make Benji and Robbie work on the last tackle options.

HEAVY INJURY TOLL FOR WESTS TIGERS

Saturday, August 22, 2009
Wests Tigers has suffered a heavy injury toll in the 26-18 loss to the Parramatta Eels on Friday night.
Winger Taniela Tuiaki underwent x-rays this morning.
“Taniela has a broken fibula and an unstable ankle that requires surgery,’’ said Wests Tigers Club Doctor Donald Kuah.
“He will miss the rest of the season as well as the Four Nations tournament.’’
Wests Tigers Football Manager Alan Mair said second-rower Chris Heighington has suffered a posterior cruciate ligament knee injury.
“It is more than likely to be bone bruising but he will have a precautionary MRI scan on Monday. He is in doubt for the Titans game next Saturday,’’ said Mair.
“Winger Beau Ryan has a knee strain and is also in doubt for the Titans match. We will know more after scans on Monday.
“Full-back Tim Moltzen has a possible undersurface fracture of the collarbone and will also have scans on Monday

So we will potentially need 2 wingers, 1 fullback and 1 backrower to cover for injuries. That's it we're finished.

The Tigers need to get Moltzen back to half back (Lui was a passenger last night),
Collis to centre (I know, painful),
Lawrence to the wing,
Hanbury to fullback,
Laurie in for Gibbs (Gibbs never to be reselected in first grade)
and while Halatau hasn't played well for ages, he should be in the side replacing the ordinary Corey Payne.

none of this will happen of course.

You're probably right but look at the damage Tuiaki does when he plays.
I think Lawrence could hav e the same impact.

I can't understand all this bagging of Collis. He missed a few tackles at the start of the season but f**k who didn't? He hasn't kicked on since 06 but just remember he was playing outside Morris for the majority of it who does not pass and was starved of ball and opportunities. The kid is good and will go well at Cronulla.

totally agree, the guy has only played 2 first grade games. couldnt imaging any coach telling him 'do whatever u like' especially when u have farah and Marshall in your side.

give him some time, im sure he will come good.
