In years gone by, Turbo would still have amazing form for the 6 or so games he was fit.

But he looked completely cooked this year.

I have no doubt he would be an Immortal if his body didn't let him down.

Time for Manly to move on

I reckon he looked really good in his stint at centre, less workload they could probably get a few more years out of him

Honestly the bloke had one great season when Vlandysball made the game basically touch football. If he was a rookie who debuted in 2022 everyone would be saying 'that Manly fullback is pretty plod'

Guys 29, he isnt going to get back to what he was 4 years ago. Manly should absolutely let him go and stick Koula there

Tom said himself weeks ago if the NRL won’t register his suggested reduced contract then he’ll go to Super League as he doesn’t want to play against Manly.

Nothing new here, or controversial. It’s funny how people pick and choose to take the drunk beetroot’s word as gospel.

Spoiler alert: believe it or not, stuff like this is happening at every club.

The professional and successful ones find a way to keep most of it, if not all of it, in-house as it's happening.

Yeah, pretty much this. Despite winning premiership after premiership even the Panthers have lost a string of top shelf players.

The good thing is, Manly have plans in place for their future. Hopate will be the fullback, a couple of young halves coming through with Fogarty just there to plug the gap before they're ready. People are celebrating Manly finishing 2 points outside the finals like they're lined up for the spoon. Newcastle need to do something big for Manly, even without Tom, to be worse than them.

No I can see how you guys will improve. Known attacking geniuses Adamn O'Brien and Green after setting the world alight at the Knights, will retool the Manly attack. Moses employs all 3 coaches at the club, and will ensure that you take the dregs of other moses contracted players being forced out of other clubs.

Onwards and upwards for Manly.

Jason King will be Manly's seventh CEO since 2014. They've had David Perry, Joe Kelly, Tim Cleary, Lyall Gorman, Stephen Humphreys and Mestrov. Judging by recent history, how long will King last? Two years?

You want a CEO to make tough decisions and not simply go with the popular majority. At least under Mestrov, Brookie was regularly selling out.

Mestrov was also talking about Brookies potential upgrade. Well it is hard for Brookvale Oval to be redeveloped when there is a constent change in the CEO's position. I feel like at Manly, the problem is much deeper than a current CEO.

But anyway, I wish Jason King all the best.

According to media reports, King missed out on the job when Mestrov got it. He's been working in a management capacity with the NRL prior to this appointment.
