Seriously the game isn't over yet but I think we have to recognise that we are in serious trouble not just for this year but next year as well.

We need a fullback and Ryan is not the answer. We need Benji and Robbie to perform. We need to show some heart.

Fulton, Benji, Robbie, Woods and Lawrence are all quality players. Ryan deserves a spot somewhere. We need a good spine and a pack of forwards who have some impact. We need some continuity in the team - all the swapping around just kills us. I think we need a new coach if we don't turn it around this season and make the finals.

Blair might need to be kicked out - seriously you need better on top dollar.

Players to play in their favoured positions at all times.

Reshuffling kills us every year.

Koroibete showed more today than Tuqiri has in the last 2 years.

We have the cattle, we just don't have a smart enough coach to know how to use them.

New coach would be a good start.

Everyone at this club is too comfortable.

It is the only solution

players playing out of position
terrible recruitment
no game plan or structure
worst defence ever - steve folkes leaves and we go downhill coincidence?I
dont think so...

I am sure I've left out numerous issues but I am just fried at the moment, just feel so sick....

Even if we manage to scrape into the 8 and drop out first match or even god forbid progress further ,HE HAS JUST GOT TO GO

State of Origin hooker moved to halfback. Where else in the nrl would this happen?
Time to clean house starting from Humphries down.

I figure for next year we need to do something like this:-

8 Woods
9 Farah
10 Galloway
11
12 Fulton
13 Anasta

Reserves:-
14 Bell
15 BMM
16 Ayshford
17 Moltzen

Basically I'd try and get rid of Blair. He simply isn't worth it. Still looking at that pack it needs more impact. We need backrowers that can make a bust.

As for the backs:-

1 Tedesco
2
3 Ryan
4 Lawrence
5
6 Benji
7

Our backline needs a massive turnaround. We need some pace out wide.

Most importantly we need some structure and players playing certain roles.

Anasta signed his deal with the promise of the number 6.
This is why benji is learning the 7 role so sironen might go lock.

Interesting times.

with blair, pettybourn, Anasta and iosefa we could be the most penalised side in the comp next year.

The weird thing is I have been a fan of the heart and passion Ryan has shown this year but the fact he has been one of, if not the best back for this season doesn't mean he should be in the side next year.

His competitive attitude and efforts have been great but the reality is he just isn't good enough, fast enough or strong enough to warrant a walk up start into an NRL back line.

The fact he has been a standout and virtually zero consequence/demotion for our backline speaks utter volumes about how badly Sheens has f**ked up

I think on his effort and performances this year he has to get one backline spot next year but what you are stating has a lot of merit. Ryan will never be a top line player. I think he is best at centre or on the wing. Today to me showed that although he plays great we need a gun fullback and he isn't that.

If this is true then Sheens should be shot. What idiot moves one of the best 5/8s in the comp to accomodate Anasta??? Hopeless

You guys pick up pettybourne, will be sad to see him leave bunnies and although he has a few mistakes in him has improved out of sight this year and is a fearless runner. Would have him over Blair any day.

You know, with a change of coach I actually think that Blair would improve 200%. The whole damn pack under a different coach would gain weight and have a little more impact. Anasta should play lock, Marshall play 5/8 (he owns that position & looks pedestrain at 7) so we still need to find a half. Siro JNR can play in the second row by bulking up a bit more. So, at the end of the day WT need to buy a coach, buy a half & hope that Tedesco returns to fullback next year and is worth the weight.

Ryan is not a centre. Ayshford, if left at centre like last year, is good enough. Ryan stays on wing, koroibete on the other, utai can be on bench.

I actually feel for you guys.

Sheens is more untouchable than Vito fugging Corleone and Humphries is a gimp.

Your club is being killed by nepotism and as hybrid mentioned, everyone's just so comfortable.
