Which will make the club a FIFO clubTo answer the question by the OP...
Because Cummins will be cut out of the deal and Perth will go ahead with just Norths and WA Govt support
I guess the NRL will issue them the licence if they are willing to set up shop in Perth. They could still have their Sydney base, just relocate NRL operations to PerthWhich will make the club a FIFO club
I know. I was adding to your point of why Perth Red won’t support it.I guess the NRL will issue them the licence if they are willing to set up shop in Perth. They could still have their Sydney base, just relocate NRL operations to Perth
True but none of them are Sydney brands moving to be a Perth club. If it doesn't look and smell like a Perth club it's on a hiding to nothing. You think Qlnders are parochial you aint seen nothing till you meet sandgropers!
Swans changed their logo to incorporate the harbour bridge, Lions changed their colours to incorporate Qlnd maroon. The WA Bears club will need to do something to convince WA folk this isnt FIFO NS and is in fact a Perth club.
Again, Wildcats arent a club that moved from another city trying to forge a new identity. They were a new club and their brand and colours were theirs from day 1.
Yellow is an obvious addition to the NS red black and white as a statement that this is a new club that belongs to perth. Personally Id prefer if we ditched any traditional NS design and choose one colour as the predominant colour with the others as secondary. A new design for a new club with a palette of NS and WA. '
