I agree with Baroubra Eel - Michael is a nob cant believe everything he says. Its pretty interesting that this is only just put on the net now. Michael has an agenda against ppl he doesnt like (and there are quite a few he doesnt like).

The whole spitting thing is a joke though I've known HJ for a hell of a long time and he wouldnt even spit at those he hates the most (eg. Franchise, Stoj ect).

This is how the Eels feel about one particular person. I think the feeling has been brewing for awhile but it all came undone at the Tigers game a fortnight ago. Not only did this person abuse one of our players in front of his children but also try and spit on his wife! You're not an Eels supporter you're a disgrace!!!

I don't think HJ would spit, that's just my opinion anyway, HJ is pretty mellow towards members of the team usually....but the way they have been playing i'm sure verbal can occur through emotion, f**k i do it all the time.

Just wanna point a few things out here, folks. I pulled Adam aside after the game last weekend and had a talk to him. I did apologise for what happened in front of his family, explained why I did what I did, and assured him that the rumoured spitting did not happen at all.

As for the rest of it, que sera sera. I mean no offense but you can all think what you like of me, but please do not think I am a spitter. It was one unsubstantiated accusation that no one else seems to have seen. I think spitting is a vile, disgustedy and cowardly act that I do not condone in any way. I don't want anybody thinking I spat at another human being, Parra player or no.

Anyone here who shouts and hurls abuse at our own players to embares him and tries to make his opinion and point in this dispicable way i would love to meet in a dark alley with no one around and see how they react to real fear and my savage fists of fury!
If this is true then i would love to know if its HJ or someone else.

Debate is one thing but if we dont give our players a proud memory of playing for our colours, because they ALL try hard- WE CANNOT BE RESPECTED BY THE WIDER COMMUNITY AND ATTRACT NEW SUPPORTERS!

I don't know what goes on at other NRL clubs, but I don't think its right for our supporters to be picking fights (verbal) with players.

You see the stupidity that goes on in the AFL with supporters giving it to players and coaches and you seriously think those supporters are the biggest imbeciles on the planet.

I've watched this thread over the past days and remained silent.

Basically, someone has come on here - over a week after the event - to raise accusations in an inflammatory manner. Certain elements of the accusation have been admitted, another element strongly denied. The person in question has explained himself and apologised to the target of his actions, and then freely acknowledged that here.

So it's all old news now. Except for the forthcoming apology from the original poster for the stated inaccuracy and the inflammatory manner with which that pre-meditated post was made?

I don't know the history between you guys, or what position you hold tracksuitman (you seem to feel you can speak for the entire club, staff and players?), but airing personal disputes as public in the manner you did is a childish way to go about it imo.
