After being disappointed with the World Cup draw I decided I see if I could make an improved one. No surprising it was more difficult then I thought. This is what I came up with.

AUS vs ENG - Etihad Stadium
FRA vs lebanese - Belmore
AUS vs FRA - Canberra
ENG vs lebanese - Penrith
AUS vs lebanese - Allianz
ENG vs FRA - Perth

Group B
NZ vs SAM - Eden Park
SCO vs TON - Hamilton
NZ vs SCO - Dunedin
SAM vs TON - Mt Smart
SAM vs SCO - Hamilton
NZ vs TON - Christchurch

Group C
PNG vs EQ1 - PNG
PNG vs EQ2 - PNG
EQ1 vs EQ2 - Cairns

Group D
Fiji vs USA - Townsville
EQ3 vs USA - Townsville
Fiji vs EQ3 - Wollongong

Group C vs D games
EQ2 vs EQ3 - Darwin

Mine would've been pretty much the same but with a few differences

1. Opener between Australia & England at MCG
2. Quarter Final in Sydney instead of Darwin
3. 1 pool C or pool D group stage match in Darwin
4. Quarter Final at MCG
5. Eden Park host the Auckland matches
6. Double Header at ANZ Stadium with AUS v lebanese & ENG v FRA
7. No Cairns, 2 Matches in Townsville, 2 Matches on Gold Coast
8. 1 Match in Newcastle, A pool stage match in Wellington as well as QF
9. Maybe even a match or 2 at the Adelaide Oval
