not that i condone that activity..

whilst the rest have some merit (eg calling the storm cheats) they are all based mostly on team based performances, whereas the souffs piece is driven by their club and fan behaviour, constantly talking themselves up but never getting the right result afterwards..


and whilst i would love to call the storm cheats as my favourite thing to do, i have a number of storm fans as friends and know how gutted they were when the cheating piece played out..

Haha, good to know. I'd hate to think anyone would consider Manly and Melbourne brothers in arms though. I don't go for the whole "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" rubbish. The Storm are cheating merkins. I actually liked the Storm until about 2007 (and it didn't change because of the grand final, it changed earlier than that) and even went for them in both the 1999 and 2006 GFs. I tend to support the more recent expansion sides more than most of the others but Melbourne have utterly destroyed any respect I could have for them. Add to that their fans are, for the most part, hypocritical dickheads. They're quick to point the finger when it comes to grubby acts but they'll defend players like Blair, Slater and Smith who are some of the biggest grubs in the modern game. Add to that the general defense of the club over the salary cap rort and the whole place is just scum.

Don't actually hate Melbourne too much. Their fans are alright. Gee, but Souffs, I have never seen a more delusional bunch of buck teeth hillbilly's then them. During the lol@souffs game at Brookie, two souffs fans sat in front of us, to no surprise they both were missing teeth, and they continually kept cheering "Glory Glory to Souff Sidknee" the whole game. f**k they shit me.

And the main reason I chose that option over the lol@50uff$ one. Although the hypocrisy, double standards, shrill parochialism and paranoia on a tinfoil-hat level that gets passed as fact in the Qld media (Courier Fail, 9 Qld) every Origin series is pretty lolworthy if you aren't amongst the brainwashed. At least the majority of people in NSW understand that the Terrorgraph is a sensationalist rag.
