The Linken Park/Jay Z thing is f***ing awsome.

If you don't like it don't listen to it simple. But don't bitch about it.

Finally, someone here who actually has a taste in music. I really would like to know what genre of music the people who write off Jay-Z/Linkin Park actually like? Please....tell me.

AHAHAHAHA classic Please tell me how talking is music mixed with the depressive teeny bopper music when every song sounds the same?

I love you Millwall.

If you check out the Hottest 100 post & the most listenable albums post you'll see what my taste in music is like...

I appreciate others taste in music, but I think more to the point is that if you guys cant see how these artists, the record company, and more to the point MTV are screwing their fans out of money by putting out this incoherent garbage because they know their fans will just go out and buy it, then you are exactly what the record company in question is looking for :)

Is it just me, or does every Linkin Park song seem to have a lyric rapped by the asian dude that rotates around the theme of 'No matter how hard i try, in the end, i will die' at some point in the song?

lol so true.

All of there songs are like "The pain inside is pushing me closer to the edge, but nobody listens, i want to break my head."

See how easy it is to come up with that crap.

Linkin Park were created/signed to help fill the void left by Nirvana. The angst filled teens of suburbia didn't have that many artists they could relate to and still feel cool in the process, because thats what MTV said.

In a nutshell Linkin Park are the 13-18 year old boy's equivalent of boy bands for pre-teen and teen girls.

"I can't take this pain, the knife is on the edge, blood is near" - see how f**king easy it is to come up with pussy bullshit lyrics like this. Then all you need it some pissant drop D riff overkilled with distortion, put some shitty singing and a f**ked DJ behind it and bingo, you have the steaming turd that is Linkin Park.

I lvoe the Linkin Park/JayZ and, imo, the Numb/Encore song is possibly the poorest on the CD, but I'm guessing they thought would be the most radio-friendly.

Great summary CC Eagle
I once heard one of those linkin park f**ks say "we feel really passionate about the feelings of confusion, frustration and anger" or something along those lines

Absolutely pathetic.

On the topic of rock/rap, does anyone know what happened to limp bizkit? And does anyone care? OH HOW SWEET IT IS

Limp Bizkit got that guitar player back, the weird skinny one. That's the last I heard of them, Fred Durst is a tool and spends too much time making up stories about good looking celebrities he reckons he's slept with as opposed to making any music.

Linkin Park, I do like their music but as people I want to hurt them. It's really "angst by numbers", but they do it well I feel and they do have some fantastic songs around... that being said, they do the same corny routine at every single live show (THIS IS THE BEST NIGHT OF OUR LIVES!!! WE LOVE YOU ALL!!!) etc, and their personalities have been handed to them by a record company exec.

Where's the material Fat Head Durst? Nothing left in that big old fat head of yours - Jack Black - Tenacious D

Limp Bizkit = phase

Behind Blue Eyes was one of the worst things I've ever had to put my ears through. If they ever release a new album I'll laugh and mock them for some time.

Linkin Park are awesome, Jay Z is pretty to very average.

Numb/encore is a really good song....the only other one i heard though was a waste of downloads.

Get '99 Problems/One Step Closer' and 'Lying From You/Dirt Off Your Shoulder'.

i hate linkin park but i dont mind Jay-z as far as rap goes.

imo cc_eagles list is pretty sick apart from that wanker john butler, although it could do with more dave grohl and the Gallagher brothers
