whats happening with marathon stadium?

I saw some highlights of a waratahs union trial a week or so ago who were playing a game at marathon and the eastern hill which faces the cameras has all been ripped up and its a huge dirt patch right now.

Are these getting replaced with seating?

I didn't mind sitting on the dirt at my only game at Marathon Stadium.

I could handle slumming it for one game.

But being ROYALTY like I am, I am used to individual seats.

They said a couple of weeks ago that they were 2 weeks ahead of schedule.

yeah I heard that too... I went past today and there was some seating put in.

The stand won't be finished, they are only planning to complete the concourse seating this year, it will become the lower seating in the new grandstand next year.
