Hmmm what he should say is a no holds bar attack on the lack of passion in the players and that they should take a good long hard look at themselves

he's gonna say "some people gave up on us at half-time, but by god we weren't just about to roll-over and sacrifice the gift"

He will say " i think wagon was great for us today but we really missed sideshow coming off our own line and without wags at 5/8 we really had no direction in attack. Im sure we can fix it all by next week"

He should say...."I think it's in the best interests of the Parramatta Football Club, the long suffering fans, the players, myself and my family that I should step aside from my position as First Grade coach of the Parramatta Eels so that the club can start working towards next season with a new coach and a succesful future..."

"Ask Fitzy what happened"
"Jamie left us in a bad way"
"We are short of centres with Jamie leaving us"

I heard what he said at the press conference not all of it, but there are a few quotes.

"Ive been under a lot pressure from the media its not fair"

"I was struggling at a time in the late 80s and got through it, thats what I'm trying to do here at Parramatta"

"I've been coaching since 1984, I reckon I have a lot to prove that I should still be there, and I reckon there are a lot of players that agree on that"

Tell me this Brian in all the years you've been coaching tell what you have achieved in first grade apart from runners up 3 times.

I'm sure the following quotes would have popped up somewhere in the media conference

"the guys really tried hard and we did some good things"

"I was impressed with the fact we never gave in"

"It's a good learning curve for the younger players in our club"

"the guys are playing without confidence and it's hard to play well without confidence"

"we've just got to hang in there and we will soon turn things around"

Utter rubbish basically.

Derfinetly a quote will be used

" The Tigers are definetly an underestimated side and they showed that today. They put on a great display"

" I thought we played really good in patches, but it didnt seem to fall into place today"
