Whats the enmore theatre like?

Parking wont be a problem as im not driving, any good suggestions for a watering hole near by?

Many good pubs between Newtown Station and the theatre. I don't mind "@Newtown", or "The Duke".
I got in about four hours before and did some mad op-shopping before hand.

The Annandale hotel was a dump for a band venue.

Back in the day, the Phonecian club was the best venue.

Metro is pretty good

It's a great venue - only been there for comedy, though (Lano and Woodley and Ross Noble).

I too have never had problems with parking either, always getting a spot on Edgeware Road. But I think it was luck, rather than anything else.

Hey! The Annandale, while being a dump, is the best pub venue in Sydney IMO.

The enmore is brilliant....

So long long as you are either up front or in the 2nd tier. I got stuck standing under the balcony for silverchair, and while most of the time it was fine, once there was any heavy bass the sound just turned into one big muddy mess.

Personally I like the Horden when it is PACKED as my best venue, although that is also swayed by the fact that pretty much every time I have seen my favourite bands play, they have been there. If I had been at the Metro when Muse played there that would be no.1 for sure.

Been there a few times and have nothing but love for the venue and the times spent there.

Nice and close and most importantly, nice and f*cking loud.
