i saw a mate the other day who does a bit with the sharks and when i first saw him the other day i asked him what was wrong with the sharks.

His reply was just a shake of the head. He said that the biggest problem was attitude and training. He said that they just arnt training properly, they just dont have their mind on the job and that there was no team spirit there. He said that he wreckoned his u18s could do a better job. He then went on to say that the top needs and overhall (e.g. pierce and the like) which you guys already want to happen.

From the way weve gone this year i think his comments must be pretty close to the mark.

But seriously, there is definitely no motivation from the boys on the field. Sat nights game they simply looked uninterested, lazy and unenthusiastic. Surely this would be a reflection of bad attitude and training.

Where is the pride in the jersey, the team and the club?

Regardless of who the coach is, who their mate is, or who they signed up to play under they are playing for the Sharks and should be proud to run out there in the colours.

The fact that we got 9,000 on the Easter weekend, against an out of Sydney club when we are playing woeful football shows that the are a lot of passionate fans.

If there are players out there that don't want to be there they can bugger off. I'm sure there are plenty of juniors out there who would play for the club regardless of the money/coach/board etc.

I know I'll get slammed for this lack of winning culture sentiment but I would rather watch the Sharks play with pride and passion and lose, than play like they don't give a shit and win. Actually I would prefer the win, but I hate it when they lose and I can't defend the way that they played because I know it was spiritless and pathetic. Rant over.

Why is it that 50% of the forum users can see this and the people in charge can't. I would much rather an unfit Deano playing than watch that money chasing show pony pretending he's the one and only........piss off to Easts or Saints Bailey. I can't beleive he's in A grade no wonder the rest of the players look ordinary they've gotta put up with him..........cmon June 30th.
