No way. It is myth because of the Roosters recent spending ways. Eastern Sydney has a proud history of producing champions. The local comps over there are very strong.

For a good chunk manly were ripped off through super league and only played in PL and below. This is their 3rd season as a first grade club and they are doing well. But hey - dont give them any credit for playing well, make up excuses.
