Sitting down to watch the footy on a Friday night I do enjoy cracking open a coldie and getting a kilo of prawns with the chileboys and the ole seafood sauce and start snapping the heads off and the tails and into the sauce
But if I was to go to a seafood restaurant I must say lobster can't be beaten or a big fat mud crab, don't mind the chilli squid either just quietly.
In the old fish and chip takeaway calamari is always first choice and some battered flathead goes down a treat with a lemon wedge. Some of the best fish and chips I've had (besides the Takeaway shop at Heathcote) would have to be a place just out of Christchurch on the water, their fish and chips was to die for
