Just curious to know the state of other teams' official sites and in what condition they are kept in???

Are they kept updated with the latest news and teams?
Do they have players in the 2005 line up who haven't been there since 2003?
Is it basically any good?

Look forward to hearing the feedback...

Sharks is very ordinary. Not surprising when you consider our CEO is on record stating it's too hard to promote 12 home games at Shark Park. No one seems to have told him if the team is winning the fans will flock to the games.

I think the Panthers site looks horrible.

I dont know about HTML....but Ive managed to build a nice looking web site with a free program off the net. Why cant a club the size of Penrith have a decent site? :?

Anyway, the news there isnt great, the forum is good but the forum is the ONLY reason I go to the site at all. Infact.....I think I went a few years without even visiting the Panthers site at one point.

I would agree there. I went to the Raiders site a few times recently and its one of the best ones.

heh, that's an understatement. It's an absolute travesty. Design is okay but content is unbelievably outdated and neglected. Whoever they're paying to maintain content isn't worth their contract.

It's better than it was a couple years ago, but there's still a bit of work to be done

It is crappy.

However it does update frequently during the season with the teams that are named.

So it does have some use.

Why they don't just mothball the official site and hand the title to NZWarriors.com I don't know. DMM would do a way beter job than the current swlakers who (aren't) managing the official site.

For professional sporting clubs most of the NRL sites are horrid.

Content wise I believe the Raiders have the best website. Design wise I like the look of the Roosters website.

The worst would be Melbourne, Cronulla, and Newcastle's. Penrith's looks like a supporter site rather than an official site.

NRL clubs should look to American sporting websites such as the NFL or NHL one's.

I have em all in me list, I was keeping an eye on the player profile pages in each site. It looked like my club would be last to update , but at least now theyre halfway done....images went up the other day...text next. Only one club yet to update the profiles.
