Ricky wouldn’t have lasted 5 min if faced with such a challenge. In fact, he might have got a sense of the enormity which is why he f**ked off before completing the job.

My point was that the squad BA took over was much stronger than the side he had in 2013, and lightyears ahead of the team SK had in 2011. We all know Ricky was a gutless weak willed merkin.

I don’t think you can talk about a ‘squad’ during that period and ignore the Salary Cap elephant. Some poor merkin eventually had to deal with the fallout and that was BA.

Keep BA for 2019 - Sacking him will bring bad media. Lets lay low. It also makes us look unstable. We have a good crop of young kids and we want them to stay. Sack the coach and I am certain we lose the cream of crop.

Offer Bennet a Smith/Gould like role.The timing is right.

Bring in an attacking coach. I'd consider Hagan.

The squad can bounce back in 2019 with team we will have. BA just needs less control.
