I tried to get into Gordon Ramsay, but he told me to f**k off.

On my last spell in the UK, we went up to Simon Rogan's L'Enclume in the Lake District. About 800 quid for 2 people for 2 nights accomodation, breakfasts, 1 meal in his 'value' restaurant and 1 meal (ex wine) the 2 Michelin star place. Was unbelievably good. And nobody told us to get f**ked.....well other than some bloke at the local pub who didn't like me singing along to some lame Hall & Oates song.

Is that the one that Steve Coogan and the Welsh merkin go to?

Ping @Gronk. Were there any standout celeb restaurants you’d recommend? Will be in London for a few days in January.

All.of the ones I mentioned.

Jamie Oliver @ Covent Garden
Marco PW near British Museum
Antonio Carlucio also near British Museum
Richard Corrigan is up near Mayfair
Stein is a bit of a hike. Like Kensington but across the river.

TBH Gordon Ramsay was hard to get into. Heston you have to book waaaay in advance.

Last time I was in London was 2009 and even then it was an absolute merkin to get into the Fat Duck.
