The reason RL is being challenged by AFL / Soccer / Netball is that most mothers don't want their children to play a game in which they can get hurt. How do you avertise the toughest game on the planet. The AFL show kicking and catching. 85% of their game. 50% of our game is one man trying to smash another man back into the grandstand. That's why we love it. As for Gallop ......... He's a lawyer. What would you expect from him. His whole working life has been about not making a verbal mistake. He is boring and lacks any kind of passion. Our game is great but there are to many hands in the cookie jar and we get told cash is scarse. Perhaps we should buy more $150 football jumpers (cost price $26.00) to fund the campaign.

By showing clips of 100kg Samoan monsters running over little 20kg white kids in under 7's football as a form of "entertainment." They have been running these "ads" every thursday night from 9:30pm for over 10 years.
