I'm wondering which of the teams are located in the North of England, near Manchester/Wigan area etc, and how far away they are.

St Helens-
Leeds-
Hull-
Bradford-
Warrington-
Salford-
Huddersfield-
Harlequins-
Castleford-
Wigan-
Catalan-
Wakefield-

I realise London Harlequins arn't and Les Catalans are in France but thats all I know of. Thanks.

All the teams are in the north, Leeds , Bradford, Castleford , Huddersfield and Wakefield are in the West Yorkshire connurbation area and would be a 30-40 min drive from Manchester, Hull is on the East Yorksire coast and would be 90 min drive .

Wigan, St Helen's, and Warrington are West Lancashire and are a 30 min drive from Manchester, Salford is next to Manchester and to get to the ground fron city centre is about 15-20 mins.

I'll try and give you an Aussie's viewpoint:

St Helens- Kinda near Liverpool
Leeds- A bit up to the right of Manchester
Hull- Go right from Leeds until you reach the coast and there's Hull
Bradford- Next to Leeds. They kinda connect.
Warrington- Between Liverpool and Manchester kinda. Widnes is there too.
Salford- In Manchester, pretty much.
Huddersfield- Between Manchester and Leeds...kinda.
Harlequins- London.
Castleford- Near Wakefield.
Wigan- A bit north of Manchester.
Catalan- South of France.
Wakefield- Near Castleford. A bit below Leeds on a map.

Wigan-

Wigan is quite near Wigan.
Seriously though, Salford and Wigan are in Greater Manchester, St Helens and Warrington aren't much further and the West Yorkshire clubs (Leeds,Bardford,Cas,Wakey,Hudds) aren't much further again although you'd think they were on the other end of the earth if you listened to some people from Lancashire. Hull is the farthest club in the north from Manchester but really it's only a couple of hourse drive.

I did a map of this when I first came over, I'll see if this works.

Sorry about the small size, but the red dots and names are the northern Superleague teams (this year).

In terms of scale/driving times, York to Bradford is one hour, York to Leeds is 40 minutes.

And for promotion/relegation interest, Leigh and Widnes are around the ones on the left, and Hull KR is out on the right.
