I will give him credit that he seems to gel the squad (not that another, decent coach couldn't do the same or better), and that seems to have been sorely missed this season.

At least they went after the right coach.

The problem is Flanno's contract. If he could accept a coaching directors role perhaps, it might make things better.

Just look at what Sheends did to the Tigers when he first arrived. Killed off that image that the club was full of dickheads, drug users and pie hole pokers, brought through junior talent, cleaned up the image and won a premiership.

That's when the club should have moved on from him though. 3 years of Sheens and the club will be in an immensely better position.
