Something is not right with him. A player with that much talent to be playing that bad is hard to figure.

It's called an achilles tendon tear.... Lost a yard of pace.

The opposition will let him drift sidewards cause he doesn't have the pace to create a hole..

I don't know what the answer is, but something needs to be done because our right side defence is leaking a f**kload of points.

I really think Carney is the common denominator.

Imagine trying to defend beside him.... Ya wouldn't know what to do.

Millers is spot on. Roosters had 1 plan last night & that was run at Carney. They need to solve that problem ASAP. It is why everybody on that side looks bad.

Ayshford pulled off some big tackles in the second half.
He's not as bad as he looks, Carney adds to his woes.
Jonno had his best game this year, despite being run down so easily.
He set up Feki's try from the quick tap.

Carney needs to stand 1 further in so there's a solid defender outside him but inside the right centre.

Bennett solved it with lockyer.

He had a minder. Tony carroll.
Anyone who ran one out at carney like Cordner did last night got smashed.

Bennett wouldve put up with lockyer defending beside ayshford for about 1 set of 6.

React Sharpie for the sake of the f**kin team and correct this.

TC will not improve.

He is an attacking weapon. We pay him big bucks to create the attack.
Somebody else needs to step up and do his defencsive duties.

Bakuya was the perfect minder.

Exactly 73.
Get him a minder and let him concentrate on finding his attacking form, not tackling.

He is made to look bad which dents his confidence further.

This is a team game. Players have strengths and weaknesses.

TC compensates for other guys attacking deficencies with his brilliance - so someone has to take his load in defence.

If Sharp keeps sending him out and asking/expecting him to tackle backrowers who are instructed to run at him all game he is as dumb as Flanno.
Even more so as the guy is playing busted.

It is no coincidence his kicking is shit as he must want to crawl into a hole as be is being made to look weak.

f**k l wish l could coach us for one week.

To fix this it will require an original thought. That won't happen while the coach is just warming the seat for his mate.

In his bad games Carney is missing 5+ tackles per game. The missed tackles come from both poor technique and a lack of intent. Robson is similar size yet makes good tackles by going low and hard. Carney goes high and tries to grab. Strong players fend him off with ease.

It is so obvious that this is killing the team yet nothing is tried.

Yes, Todd could learn off Robbo.

Better to grab the legs & risk an offload than to be steamrolled over from going high.

If Lewis was fit and available then the fix is easy, have him play where Bakuya was and protect Carney.
However we have no Lewis so Carney is on his own.
Huge coaching deficiency in not using someone else to babysit him.
We can't wait for Lewis anymore cos as has been said already it is killing TC's confidence.

Surely Lewis must be close.

At the start of the season, it was Rd 5 with Tupou.

We are nearly twice as many rounds gone.

We should be compensated by someone for an injury that should never have happened.
