Where is Metuisela going?

Tevita Metuisela has been mentioned as leaving WT's. I cant find any mention of him going anywhere- has he been released?

If he is staying I think that means WT's are 2 over the 25 according to my reading of the roster.

He's not bad, OK but cerrtainly nothing exceptional. I wouldnt have extended his contract.

As has been said in many other posts and forums- WT's recruitment and retention policy certainly causes concern. And yet, nobody in WT officialdom ever says anything.

I don't have any issues with recruitment. You take the good with the bad. Yes the last couple years has seen more bad than good but it's swings and roundabouts.

Retention on the other hand, unless junior's on match payments, he shouldn't have been extended.

Thats interesting- he is a tryer and gave 100% every opportunity he got- I thought he was signed up to and inc 09 for the main squad. I do recall an article a few months ago saying he was looking to cement his spot. I'll see if I can find it.

The Metuisela bit has me intrigued- what is going on? He has been mentioned as definitely leaving but on what grounds? He has not been able to break into the usual 17 squad so going elsewhre would seem logical and WT would not be crushed if they lost him.

Gallant deserves to be in the 25, he's done his apprenticeship and when he filled in for Hodgo he was very good.

Gallant is good enough to play first grade, however I think the Tigers have placed a couple younger guys in front of him in the pecking order. I heard there is some interest for him at other clubs, so hopefully he gets a start.

Id like to see gallent in nrl wests tigers side. thought he did a good job with the games he played.

I'm not sure either however I've included in 09 season as there has been nothing saying he is going.
