Well, its time to take the trip to WIN to see the boys battle from seventh to a first premiership(yeah).

For those of you that love a bit of footy, with some entertainment also, be sure to hit it up with the ASBESTOS lads this weekend on one part of the hill.

Just look for the boys in the white, with the spray paint trickled over them.

Also, David Peacheys Beer Hill banner is making an appearance as we feel we will bring the life of the hill to win for one night only.

Cheers.

See you in the social thread(im guessing)

I doubt anyone will be sitting anywhere, unless you count a few thousand DragQueen fans attempting to fit 26 inches of ass into 22 inches of plastic seating.

The southern end of the hill I think is the place to be, as the Queens tend to stake out the middle to the north end of the hill. I certainly haven't been to Wollongong in over 10 years.

As the Sharks have not played at WIN for many years here is a bit of local advice for those attending WIN stadium. Since WIN stadium has had the massive northern stand added to the ground it is a pretty impressive stadium and makes Kogarah Oval look second rate.

Pre and Post match drinks recommended at the following bearing in mind that Crown Street runs to the west along the northern end of the Ground where the Entertainment Centre is,
The Glasshouse (Tavern) 200m west of the ground along Crown St
Harp Hotel 100m west of the ground along Crown St at intersect with Corrimal St.
The Brewery (North end of the ground on the eastern side of the Entertainment Centre)
Steelers Club is next to the ground on the western side but will be packed as it is a small club.

If heading down by train get off at Wollongong and walk east along Burelli Street which is the street you exit the station onto. 100m east there is a newly owned Rydges Hotel (Old City Pacific) that has a new Sports Bar in it that could be the first watering hole. Another 100m east along Burelli and there is Cooney's Tavern. Another 100m east and you can see the lights of the ground along Burelli Street and there is Wollongong RSL and Illawarra Leagues Club diagonally opposite one another at int of Burelli and Church Streets. Both are great for a feed and cheap drinks and probably Illawarra Leagues is the pick.(Note Illawarra Leagues is not the Steelers Club)
Walk another 100m east along Burelli and head straight to the ground or better still turn left on Corrimal and walk 100m up to the Harp Hotel passing the Oxford Hotel.
Then turn right and walk 100m east along Crown Street to the ground and visit
The Brewery. By then you should be fully charged and ready to watch the mighty Sharks.
