Ennis was coming to the end of his career and Lichaa was a gun junior. It didn't work out, but it was hardly mind-boggling. Not all recruitments pan out brilliantly. He's let Lichaa go now, so clearly he is working on the processes.

Yes, but it was reported that the contract allows the Bulldogs to terminate him should they choose to do so and only have to pay him out for 1 year and not the full 2 years as that provision was included in his new contract.
