Which Broncos Deserve To Play In The Four Nations?

Lockyer, YY, Thaiday, Parker and McG. Don't think the last 2 will though.
Hodges and Hannant probably due to past experience and lack of better options, but not on form..

Glenn for NZ, Beale should be in the squad.

Reed for England, no idea about their options though.

Obviously incumbency should play apart in the Australian line-up and so the likes of Locky, Hodges, Yow Yeh, Thaiday and Hannant should be there again but should more players join them?

For Australia, I believe Corey Parker is an obvious candidate. I've been quite vocal in the past about selecting him off the bench, but I'm prepared to say I was wrong and believe he's definitely worthy of a jersey, even ahead of Glenn Stewart. The other player I'd like to see join the side is Josh McGuire who I thought was brilliant for us during the lead into the finals. Unfortunately for him, his decision to play for Samoa last season may have cost him and since the Broncos were bundled out I can see the selectors over-looking him to little fan-fare, even though, I reckon had we won, he would be.

But what about New Zealand? Do you think Glenn and Beale will make it?

And of course England, it appears our resident ranga Jack Reed might make his debut and suddenly the QCup centre will of blossomed into an international. Won't that get the revisionist tongue's wagging! Suddenly 2011 will be a season of underachievement given all the internationals in our side, despite where they started from.

What do you guys think?

Think you're being a bit harsh on Hodges user. Injuries aside I thought he was still one of the best centres in the game and invaluable at times for us.

Hannant I can agree with. Would prefer he'd be overlooked so he can actually recover and have a full pre-season.

Jharal Yow Yeh, Darren Lockyer and Justin Hodges.

Corey won't get picked with Sheens in charge.

Hodges has been good for most of the year, just his most recent stint has been meh. As well as his 2 rep appearances.

Parker, Thaiday, Hodges. Not Lockyer, he has a very bad injury, let's move on. Maybe Gillett in the squad somewhere.

As many coaches have said before, Locky will be the first name picked, then probably Thaiday, Hodges, Yow Yeh and possibly Hannant.

Parker deserves a look in for sure, as does McGuire, but I don't like their chances...

Lockyer, Thaiday and Hodges obviously, but as for the young blokes, shit where do I start? Yow Yeh, Glenn, Reed the list goes on...

Australia:
Justin Hodges
Darren Lockyer
Ben Hannant
Jharal Yow Yeh
Sam Thaiday
Corey Parker

New Zealand:
Gerard Beale
Alex Glenn
Josh Hoffman would be there if he was fit

England
Jack Reed

I would love to see McGuire get a jumper but I don't think he's eligible.

Cronk, Slater and Smith will be there for sure, but I can't see Neilsen making it.
Out of those 8 Broncos, unfortunately I can probably see Gillett, Parker and McGuire missing out. As much as I'd like to see it I can't see them picking Parker or Gillett over Creagh, Thaiday, Gallen, Watmough and Glenn Stewart...although they might make room for one of them.
