If you could dump one club from the comp in order to bring in a central coast or gold coast, who would you get rid of?

I can't go past melbourne.

Yeah melbourne seems the most logical in temrs of support, but I think performances should be judged as well. So maybe souths should relocate.

Yeah great idea that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lets close down any expansion teams and then put more teams in NSW!!!
That is the most backward approach to promoting a game I think I have heard...

This discussion is getting boring and is hurting the game more that it is benefitting the game..

Melbourne is here to stay.

How about Newcastle?????? Lets get rid of them hey???

Couldnt- theres too many supporters for each, think about what youd do if your team was dropped, youd be devastated

This is just another bloody stupid thread that will cause division on here. No team deserves to be dropped, and as an avid Storm supporter I get sick of reading on here that we should be relocated. Get over it, we are here now, and all this speculation is what bloody stops more supporters from gettin on board.

We had over 600 at our presentation ball the other night, (at $145 a head not too cheap either!!!), not a bad turn out for a club that has no support and shouldn't exist!

Melbourne. Relocate or kill, I care not.
A free Trophy and those cock-eyed Mexicans are still counting the teeth of the gift horse. The majority of Melbournites wouldn't know good sport if it jumped up and bit them.

Anyone on here that says Melb might as well start following the Jim Beam Cup. Do you want the game to develop and expand, or revert to the old school NSWRL?? It is still trying to rid itself of that image IMO, and that is part of what is holding it back. I don't think there is a need for anyone to go, but if there is, it has to be a NSW team.

AFL has a chokehold on the minds and hearts of Victorians, I work on a national helpdesk and all Vic people say a similar thing for example, "Nah, don't watch Rugby it's a thug's sport."
"What about Melbourne Storm?"
"Who cares, they'll die out soon, the sooner the better."
I don't want to hand victory to the AwFuL, but you don't see the yanks trying to sell NFL in South America.

What's melbourne do for the game. They cost heaps of money to keep alive. They have poor crowds and it's very doubtful that they will become a seccess with afl down there. Imagin how much more money melbourne would set the nrl back if they became a wooden spoon team.

who is paying for melbourne? News Ltd. As long as they keep pumping $$$$$ into the Storm then let them be.

Melbourne, for the obvious reasons.

It's a disgrace to have to rugby league heartlands vacent of an NRL team and yet we persist with Melbourne.

No, the disgrace is people saying we should abandon the expansion of the game into other areas of the country.
