Which current hookers are better than Rein

Ok guys many want to get rid of Rein and in an earlier post it was put forward that he is better than only two other hookers in the comp. Well let's name those that are better than him leaving aside Smith and Farah. My feeling is that we are better with him on the field and if he played against us, we would probably change our stance. Let's go who are the hookers from the other 13 clubs who you would rank above him.

(Mind the spelling)
Leecha
Cook
Mcculough
Friend
Luke
Segeyaro
Korasou
Peats
Ennis

All better then Rein. Rein has improved this year, especially in the run game and taking advantege of lazy markers, however the most important role of the hooker is the service from dummy half. Rein must improve his passing game, im sick of watching passes fall at the feet of the receiver, on the ground or behind the player.

Rein is not an 80 minute player. Should of been subbed 10 mintues before half time on sunday.

I put granville on the same level as Rein because of the Cowboys forward pack it is not fair to compare the 2. I would rather all the other 9's on the list i have mentioned above.

Really? I'm a massive fan of Granville, best up and coming rake IMO.

This, a great hooker.

Saved them the game against us in the Gong when he ran down Benji after Hunt made a bust up the middle.

I just did a google search of him, he's 27 years old in February! Forget best up and comer, he's the best late bloomer!

Leaving Smith and Farah out i'd have

Friend
Luke
Ennis
Segeyaro
Mcculough

All ahead of him. I'd argue Peats but he's made of glass and is never on the park. I'm personally happy with Rein as he misses very few games, giving us value for money. He has some spastic in his game, but overall I think he's had a great year.
Only drawbacks are he gets very loose after about 50-55mins and I don't believe he's got any more gears to go up in regards to ability.

Lookjng through the ladder:
Roosters - Friend is better
Broncos - McCollough is better
Cowboys - Granville is better
Sharks - Ennis is better
Storm - Smith is better
Bulldogs - Rein is better than Lichaa (for now)
Souffs - Luke is better
Dragons - Rein is Rein
Manly - Ballin is equal (due to his form dropping and Reins lifting)
Canberra - Rein is better (although TBF I havent watched much of Hodges)
Parramatta - Peats is better (although very injury prone)
Warriors - Rein is better than Friend
Titans - Rein is better than Faloon (although Srama has potential)
Tigpies - Farah is better
Penrith - Segeyaro is better (and Korisau is equal, at worst)
Newcastle - Rein is better

That put him in the lower half of hookers. Middle of the pack at best. He is a solid enough hooker until a better option comes along, but not good enough for us to rely on long term.

Hard to argue with your comments there BV,however i think he has improved a fair bit from last season & if he continues to improve going into next season he would then imo opinion move up the list a fair bit.Hopefully have a couple of bigger props next year making good yards with quick play the balls will help him make better decisions.

I don't agree, Rein is an X factor and will only improve in the basics.
What he needs is to be coached to his potential. get rid of millward.

Rein needs to play a dean young role. Hooker for around 40 minutes, then lock for the rest of the game. He makes a lot of tackles. But then where does that leave DeBellin? We really have an unbalanced team at the moment.

I may have been abit harsh on rein.

I think he needs to improve his passing game big time and a few times he makes wrong decisions

His running game however and when he chooses to run has been very very good

Agree with most other than the following:-
Dragons - Garvey is better than Rein
Dogs - Cook is better than Rein and Lichae is also better
Manly - Ballin is better
Canberra - both hookers are better
Warriors - Friend better and Havilli is better than Rein
Titans - Shrama is better

That is my take. Rein needs to move on.

Segeyaro is the only one I would dump rein for

Rein is ok and the limited money we would have spare in the cap needs to be spent on a centre and winger

Rein is overpaid and overrated by the Dragons. His passing from dummy half is at best average and seems to stutter the attack.Has a go but I am sure we can find a better option in 2016.

Benji Marshall says Robbie Farah's Wests Tigers exit a personal battle with Jason Taylor

By STEVE ZEMEK

Sept. 1, 2015, 10:19 p.m.

Benji Marshall says the Wests Tigers' decision to axe Robbie Farah is due to his abrasive personality and not the club's precarious salary cap position.
Farah has been given permission to negotiate with other NRL clubs by coach Jason Taylor despite having two years left to run on his deal.
Taylor last week said Farah had been let go in an effort to shore up the club's long term future.
Farah is on a deal worth a reported $950,000 and Taylor said holding onto the NSW No.9 would stifle their recruitment and they needed to make room in the salary cap.
However former Tigers playmaker Marshall says he believes the stoush comes down to a personality clash between Farah and Taylor.
"He's a very bad loser and a very emotional person when it comes to defeat," Marshall said on NRL 360 on Fox Sports.
"After games I think he lets it get the better of him sometimes ... They talk about salary cap being the reason why but in my opinion it's got nothing to do with it.
"It's more about the personal battle between him and JT."
Marshall - who played alongside Farah in the joint ventures' 2005 premiership team before parting ways with the club in 2013 - said Farah was "not everybody's cup of tea" and sometimes difficult to get along with because of his outspoken nature.
Marshall defended Farah however, saying he was only forthright because he loved the club and had given his all for it.
Farah fell out with former Tigers coaches Tim Sheens and Mick Potter before their departures.
Marshall also revealed both he and Farah took pay cuts at the Tigers' request in 2012 after the club realised it was set to breach the salary cap.
Marshall sliced $80,000 off his salary while Farah agreed to a $200,000 reduction.
They did it on the provision that those amounts would be added onto their salaries in their final years at the club.
Marshall said Farah deserved to be treated better and expected him to dig his heels in and fight for his spot next season.
"We both (took pay cuts). In 2012 the club came to us and said they were going to be X amount over the cap," Marshall said.
"In 2012 I think I took an $80,000 pay cut and Robbie took a $200,000 pay cut for two years in a row.
"When I agreed to a five-year deal after that year, that was going to be back-ended and added onto my contract. The same thing happened with Robbie.
"Everyone looks at (Farah's) price tag and sees $950,000 and says `well he's not worth 950'. Well it's really 750 and the 200 he took off three or four years ago to keep the club afloat.
"That's how much the club means to the bloke and that's how much it meant to me. We were willing to give up our money to keep the club under the cap."
