Galloway is till the end of 2005. Ross and Aitken I think is the same not sure. Rieck is also till the end of next year.

positive on Rieck and Galloway. Rieck came up last year and did a new two year deal. Galloway was signed last year sometime to a deal before he got into grade that keeps him till the end of 2005. Ross and Aitken I thought had 3 year deals.. Could be wrong with the last two but with all the Aitken lovers here I'm sure we would have heard about it if he was off contract.

Beattie - I'd watch for improvement but at this stage I wouldn't be offering much
Emilio - Re-Sign on a lower contract.
Wessel - Re-Sign on the same contract
Newton - Definitely Re-Sign on a slighty upgraded conyract
Peachey - Definitely Re-Sign on a much lower contract
Seers - Release
Saleh - Release
Nutters - Re-Sign on the same contract
Bickers - Release
IceAxe - Re-Sign on the same contract
Gallen - Definitley Re-Sign on an upgraded contract
sully - Definitley Re-Sign on an upgraded contract

I agree with most of that except I wouldn't bother keeping Beattie or Emelio. I'd offer Bickers a cut price deal, but I'd say he'll have played enough games to get a pommie working visa, so may be offered some pounds by a lower level Super League club. Same with Isemonger.

He may do, but I don't think alot of clubs would be chasing him so why pay more if we don't have to?

I would let go the following, Beattie, Emilio, Seers, Bickerstaff..
I would upgrade Nutley's, Newton, Gallen and Sullivan..
I would keep the others either to the same or a downgrade..

Warren,

Simmons is improving every week.
He has genuine pace.
Good hands.
Neat step and a good don't argue as Billy Slater found out.

He will be a gun player for us.

yeah simmons may well be a gun player in the future but saleh is much better than him right now, yet simmons plays first grade while saleh plays fullback in PL

that sounds heaps fair

You only get better by playing against the best. I would have thought that the clear and intelligent thing to be doing in a re-building year is to be re-building... ie. giving young inexperienced blokes who we will be relying on in the future some experience.

This is why warren is thankfully not in charge of selecting the team each week, and Stuart Raper is.
