1. Out Now:

Here it is - the latest edition of The Front Row, our exclusive online e-magazine with a full wrap on last weekend's NRL and Super League along with the match programme for the coming round!

This week Paul Jobber looks at the sacrifices made by the NZ Warriors as they prepare to head home after many long months keeping the NRL afloat by relocating to Australia, while Rob Crosby looks at the departing and retiring class of 2020 as many players make their exits. Rick's weekly finals column peaks with rankings of the top eight forward packs headed into the pointy end of the season.

Add to that all the regular features you've come to expect - a full NRL Round 20, Super League Round 13 and Netherlands-Germany programme - and you have one fantastic 50-page magazine for your weekend's reading!

    • Manly to NSW Cup if they want to stay at Brookie or Gosford if they want an NRL spot
    • Sydney Roosters to become the team of Sydney's affluent north and east from Moore Park as the Swans and Waratahs have been able to do (they already have a partnership with Norths).
    • Wests Tigers to Perth - West Coast Tigers
    • Brisbane 2 admitted to the NRL
    That leaves us with:

    North QLD
    Brisbane
    Brisbane 2
    Gold Coast
    Auckland
    Newcastle
    Central Coast Sea Eagles
    Sydney Roosters
    South Sydney Rabbitohs
    Cronulla Sharks
    St George Illawarra Dragons
    Canterbury Bulldogs
    Parramatta Eels
    Penrith Panthers
    Canberra Raiders
    Melbourne Storm
    West Coast Tigers
    • Gosford problem sorted
    • Brookie problem sorted
    • North Sydney problem sorted
    • Wests Tigers nomad problem sorted
    • Perth problem sorted
    • Still only 16 clubs
    • No moaning about the 'stretching the talent to thin' myth
    • No moaning from the clubs about having to share the pie with extra teams
    • Sea Eagles and Tigers not axed from the comp and the brand lives on in the NRL
    • Finally puts us ahead of where we were in 1995 with Perth, Brisbane 2 and Melbourne in the comp
    • There is room to add NZ2 and Adelaide as the 17th and 18th teams in the future

thats a lot better than most the current crop of teams, and they dived when it became apparent they wouldn't exist for much longer, why support a club thats only been around for a year and you know wont be around the next year

mongoose said their crowds nosedived because of Super League. I pointed out their best crowds came during Super League.

I'd go NZ2 and make the Canterbury Bulldogs a Sydney-Christchurch club. NZ has 2.5 teams and Foxtel has the 6pm Fri pub game sorted. The game can be held in NZ each week.

Or maybe they nosedived because they were a shithouse side made up of plodders.

    could of been that too

they existed for 2 years, and in the second year they knew it would be there last
1 with relatively good crowds, 1 with relatively poor crowds (but still not the worst)

they weren't around long enough to make any assumptions on their future
