The correct answer is any side who hasn't won a premiership, therefore has nothing to ever fall back on in tough times. Even as shit as the Tigers are, and the fact they haven't made finals since 2011 which is insanely bad, they at least have 2005 (for anyone old enough).

At the moment it'd be the Titans, because at least we're 3rd. And the Titans may suck for the next million years, and no one would really care, which would be heart-breaking if you were truly a die-hard.

This year isn't as bad for the mental health as the Eels fans on here would have you believe IMO. You have to remember that most of them are totally psychotic. There's a chicken and egg argument there obviously, but for the few well adjusted merkins this year has been munted with outs and a brutal draw.

Some things are hard to cop, like Matto being a stingy merkin early probably costing us at least two games and DylBro losing his f**ken mind. But otherwise injuries etc happen, and especially make it hard when we probs overachieved last year and still lost a few very good players. Let's face it any team relying on Bryce Cartwright to fill a regular starting spot is up against it.
