Which was worst?-1995 or 1997

I had to go 97 but only because it was the last grand final we have made and we lost it at the death. I think the steriods involvement of 97 is the only thing that still pisses me off. Without the steriods used by the knights I think it would be 95 outright for me. 95 was the unitied competition.

MacDougall had an excuse and I agree that Robbio should have been kicked out. But that is just lame blaming that on the loss.

Manly is my 2nd fave team, only because of the fact that my brother and father are huge Manly fans. 97 cut them too peices because they thought there is no way in hell that Newcastle would have won it.
However it was just Newcastle's time.

95 for sure!!!

we all know 97 was a split comp so it would not have felt like we were really the premiers. I was gutted with the loss to the Doggies, I have never watched either game ever again.
