Who had/has a more horrible style of football?

More boring/annoying to watch?

hows the season going looking forward to finishing with zero points

Geez, your abit sensitive mate. Watching the Storm play for zero is equivalent to watching the Dragons dominate all year knowing they'll be cannon fodder for teams running 8th in the finals.

Anyway, getting away from the cat-fight between Kiki, who is a real girl, and Raiders Premiers, who is acting like a girl, we go back to Moffo's original request about running the ball on the last tackle.

@ Moffo,

1. Jamie Soward ran the ball on the last trackle. Try time.

2. Darius Boyd ran the ball on the last tackle of the match. Try time.

After a long day at primary school, you were probably asleep by then so missed those two examples of the Dragons running the ball on the last tackle.

But seriously man, I respect you for coming on here and having your say. I am always hear to list-- Moffo, stop eating that glue and go stand in the corner!!

lol, still smarting from that argument we had a few weeks ago when you couldn't get over Bennett's comments that 10 out of our starting 13 were missing and he was proud that we still only lost by 1 try?

Don't worry mate, I'm not here to get involved in your discussion with Kiki, that's for you two to sort out!

I am quite proud to be given the title of "dumbest and most idiotic" (OK, I will admit that I struggle to see the difference between the two insults, but let's ride with it for the sake of avoiding a conflict about grammar) Dragons supporter. We must be an incredibly intelligent bunch, then!

Anyway, time for me to get back to writing my Intellectual Property Law paper. I better let you get back to unpacking those boxes at Coles - I really do hope that working Night Fill is a rewarding experience, "my friend"!

played in the spirit of the game...pass the ball, run on the last. actually have a crack in each set of six as opposed to the drone like style that the dragons adopt

All Soward does is bomb the bloody thing 100 times a game. Wow, creative much? And NSW want him in the side? bwahahahahaha

We actually score more tries through the hands than any other team in the comp. We also have the 3rd best "for" in the comp and the best defense by a mile. I'm not sure what's boring about that, but I guess it takes a little bit of the excitement out of the game when your side is consistently winning, the "buzz" after a win isn't as high ;-)

The structured approach has found to catch the Dragons out in finals...the concern is that if they choose to adopt this style then they need to be able to step it up when they are behind in a finals game.

Our entire forward pack was carrying substantial injuries from around round 20 last year (Poore, Young, Weyman, Smith, Prior all required surgery). The fade started well before the finals. We're cruising through games at the moment, last year mid-season we played with more intensity but it burnt us out by seasons end. We don't need to work as hard to score tries as we did last year either.

How many times tonight did Soward bomb it on the last? I dare you to give me a number as a % of their last tackle plays :sarcasm:

That's because most of the time our last play came on the 30-40m... It's one of Pearce's specialties as well ;-)

Here is a bit of advice, putting up a bomb from 30-40m gives your kick chase a chance to tackle the receiving player back into the in-goal and get a repeat set. It's called building pressure. You're right though, we should have run it and got tackled 5-10m further down the field, gifting the Tigers an extra 20m to run the ball, a battle they were winning for most of the game

yeh great logic.....i mean the bomb is the only option available to you when you are 30m out on the last

he does it almost every time. the only observation i'm making is that it is boring to watch, and the punters on here largely agree with that comment

We've scored probably around 10-15 tries from the 20-30m line on the last this year.

You're deadset clueless. If you actually watched most of our games this year you'd realise how idiotic the garbage you're saying is. We aren't Penrith we don't rely on the bomb and kicking to score points.

In a game where we were giving up easy meters on the ground why the hell would you give them a headstart? When we're ahead in any game we're incredibly good at dictating terms, having good kick pressure is a huge part of that, and guess what? It's working for us.

To me it seems anyone complaining about dragons style of play is only jealous that their team arent as consistent, disciplined and have dragons defence. Im sure a lot of teams (eg: tiger, raiders, eels) would look at our style and wish they could replicate it in some way because its what wins you matches on a consistent basis.

When it comes to finals though we will have to step up. Not so much with flair and attacking brilliance but with intensity and aggression. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Good post...the Dragons will have to balance the structure with some flair and this has not happened in the past.

Its not like you have ever seen your club win one. Being 13 and all.

:lol::lol:
 Enter dRaGonzrUlee, the dumbest and most idiotic of all Dragqueens fans. Quite an achievement my friend

You need to get out and about a lot more.

I must be the only non-Dragons fan that enjoys watching clinical, pressure-based football with perfect strategy played out by a team that is dominating the rest of the field. However 'boring' it is to those who just want sweeping backline movements (a la Panthers last night. Crisp was the word.) or Folau scoring off a bomb every second set, suggesting that they dont use those elements is obsurd.

I'd love to support the 'St Merge Scum delusional f**kers' club over the North Queensland Pending Nooses, but what the heck :)

There you go. Both the Dragons tries in the first half were from swinging the ball wide, what people here have been criticizing about them. In the second half, they scored one try off a bomb, and one off a Hayne-esque run by Jamie Soward, then a long-range try from within their own 30 or 40.

Not sure what else you expect, wide backline movements, try off a bomb, individual brilliance, and long-range efforts.

I'd rather watch the Dragons "boring" yet clinical displays than a team not functioning. We wer great against Melbourne - but it wasn't any more exciting than watching Saints. Then again, try watching us play Cronulla or Newcastle. Pulling teeth is a better option.

Moffo would prefer to watch the Dogs lose every weekend. Come to think of it, so would I
