To me there is 3 countries that are leading the way in batting at the moment, these are:

India - Ghambir, Sehwag, Dhoni, Tendulkar, Laxman, Yuvraj, Dhoni + Ashwin who showed he can bat with that last start century and has scored 2 previous FC centuries

England - Strauss, Cook, Bell, Pietersen, Trott, Morgan, Bopara, Prior + all their bowlers can bat a bit

South Africa - Rudolph, Smith, Amla, Kallis, de Villiers, Prince, Boucher + every bowler except Imran can bat

Who does everyone rate as the best batting side in the world?

On a side note does it frustrate anybody else that we are producing a bucket load of fast bowlers but don't seem to have that many batsmen coming through?

England atm. While India's one looks the best on paper, given what happened in England we saw who was the better batting side.

Why doesn't NKA have Trott listed for England?

Poms by a considerable distance, in fact they are the best all-round team in cricket.

I think the poms batting lineup has weak points. We certainly didnt find them but Steyn and Morkel (and Phillander if he keeps it up) definately can. Strauss is in a pretty poor run of form, KP inconsistent, Morgan is hardly established in his spot. Cook can be susceptible (but is supurb mentally) as well.

I think the Poms Bowling is far more impressive than their batting, their fast bowling depth is incredible.

The Saffa's with Amla, Kallis, De Villiers and Smith is probably better than the poms.

India third IMO, good but all susceptible to movement in the air (except maybe Dravid who is a tough player). Also have three players who must be nearing the end in Laxman, Tendulkar and Dravid, they'll fall pretty soon I think.

when have NSW ever been at full strength.

Actually, what would be NSW full strength ?

To answer the OP, I'd say England atm
Hughes
Warner
Khawaja
Katich
Clarke
Watson
Haddin (Nevill)
O'keefe (Hauritz)
Cummins
Bollinger/Copeland/Starc
Hazlewood

Maybe? That leaves the likes of Smith Maddinson and two of those quicks, Jaques etc out.

I apologize I couldn't remember all the sides off the top of my head so I went to the most recent scorecards (thanks cricinfo)

I voted India cause on paper they shit on anyone else but I guess that's not where the games are won unfortunately. Gonna be interesting to see what happens when sachin, Dravid and vvs retire...

I'd take SOK over Smith on current form, but yeah pretty strong line up that will never get to play together
