For mine any of the top three could come through on the day, but I guess anyone making the finals is some chance.
Also the league has given each club specific criteria it needs to address by August 31 if it intends seeking promotion should it win the final. Changes to grounds, things like that.
I would assume that Cas (ex-SL) and Whitehaven (deemed eligible last year) should meet this criteria? And not sure if Hull KR has planned for it yet? But nothing's guaranteed....
Actually Doncaster beat Whitehaven today 30-20 *edit - scrap that, heard the score the wrong way around * , and Cas lapped relegation bound Barrow 76-12.
So Cas now *2* points clear, new table tomorrow. But that doesn't count for anything once the finals are on...
Nobody at the RFL can be bothered to put the National League stats on the website, but then nobody at the RFL could give a toss about the National Leagues.
