Super league did actually have 17's, 19's and reserve grade. So really there should/would be a few more lads still around.

Difference between Menzies and all the other players listed is that Beaver debuted in 1993 and by the time any other player listed in this thread had made their 1st grade debut, he had played in 3 grand finals, won a premiership and was a regular in the NSW and Australian sides. Phenomenal longevity.

Probably, I just remember seeing Finch and his brother running around for the Mariners at that horrible ground they played at in Newcastle.

A "junior" is a development pathway. The club that nurtured you from say 12 to 20 years old.

Brett may have debuted for mariners but was a knights junior.

Also it is impossible for someone to be a "Mariners Junior" because at most they could have played one season. They would have been another club's junior for at least 7 years

Topper Stadium, couldn't remember what the official name was. Parking and transport was horrendous.

I believe it used to look more like this

I remember one game where it was pissing down rain and there was about 1000 people huddled under that small grandstand on the right. Crowd was announced as 1800 or something though, couldn't have been more than 1200 there.
