I agree the Schif, Mini and Wesser are the best but unfortunately, Wesser will never be picked for Aust or NSW. I have my suspicions as to why he won't be picked but I won't discuss them here.

lainey it has nothing to do with that.

its that hes a qlder for a start so hel never play for nsw

and for aust, there are so many fullbacks available that hes going to have to have more than just one good season to prove his wealth

minichiello schif are proven

OMG he will never be selected becoz he is black!!

That's why Wendell went over to union. Coz they don't Like, Discriminate against our Brothaz! And his Homies Lote and Mat, Coz Black Brothaz ain't ever gonna get the Appreciation of Whitey, Like Artie Beetson!

Wesser has proven to be suspect under the high ball on a few occasions. Schif has been a constant performer in teams like the CHARGERS and some pretty low quality Raiders outfits. Wesser has shined since about mid 2002 when the Panthers began to win more than they were losing.

I guess it depends what you like in a fullback. A player that can break the line and score 100 metre tries like Wesser, Slater, Burt or Minichello or someone who is a great defender and catcher like Schifcofske or Matthew Ridge. Just thinking about the fulbacks getting around, that defensive type player is a dying breed in favour of an attacking weapon isn't it?

Ridge was an overrated prick. Brasher was one of the best fullbacks i have seen play. Lockey has always been a 5/8 who defended at fullback where Brasher and Minichello are more classical fullbacks. Brasher was good at both defence and attack and was a brilliant player.

Minichello goes alright at the club level. I thought he struggled in the Test match though.

Unusual for someone who has played 5 tests previously.

He ripped up Origin last year.

Yes I know.

Many have said that Origin is much more intense then any test match. Mini didn't seem to have any problems handling Origin.

He's had plenty of big game experience with Grand Finals and the 'roo tour last year - although even then I thought he struggled against the English.

What's his problem at Test level?
