For the rest of you, wondering what the big deal is with this picture, I am just curious as to who you Sharkies fans think it is.

Most people say Richie Barnett (that was my guess too), but there is a strong suggestion that it is actually someone else.

Any other ideas, or are you convinced it is Barnett ?

Last time I saw Barnett in the flesh was in Caringbah shopping centre after his head had been rearanged by Wendall Sailor during a test. He looked like the elephant man.

It is definitely Barnett.

The picture is from a 1995 Footy Card that was mislabelled as being David Peachey. I happen to have the card and here it is scanned.

That "mislabelled" card was the "strong suggestion" it was someone else. We were having a "Name that Player" comp on the Manly forum and most people said Barnett so we were pretty shocked to see the full card showing the name Peachey.

I figured Sharkie fans would know the truth.
