I think Cardy is talking about having to play 335k under the cap for the next 2 years. My understanding is the 750k fine will be taken off our grant but the 335k reduction means we're only allowed to spend a maximum of about 97% of our cap but is not a fine?? Happy to be corrected if that's not the case.

No. You can only spend cap money on players

Might be wrong but are the clubs only obliged to spend 95% of the cap each year?

It means we aren’t forced to spend $ we don’t have.

Like forced savings i guess....good having all these kids coming through on moderate coin so the reduction should have minimal impact over the next couple of years.
