Surely you can do better than The Living End - if you go to the BDO and the best you can see is a band you can see at your local RSL you aren't trying hard enough...

Lets try:

* Rage Against The Machine (Sydney 1996)
* Wilco (Sydney 2003)
* The Flaming Lips (Sydney 2004)
* at the drive-in (Sydney 2001) (even if it was 4 songs long)
* Bjork (Gold Coast 1994)

Nirvana 92....Horden Pav ,wall melting Hype that they lived up to.

Silverchair 95 ...freak hanging off a flood light about 60 feet above the crowd one handed. Somehow he survived. The chair were just little boys but blew everyone else away.

In my opinion, BDO perfermances aren't all that good.

I only go to side-shows now. Much bigger set, and not sharing it with 100 000 sweaty dickheads.

that was at Livid...unless thjey did it in Sydney and not Melbourne BDO but I did see australian f**kwit at Melbourne Livid 2003.

Nirvana @ The Hordern without about 2000 too many people. Sonic Youth and iggy pop. The Beasts of Bourbon, Ramones, Iggy Pop, Radio Birdman and the very first act at the very first BDO .... The Welcome Mat. LOL

Foo Fighters went off, so did QOTSA....but I reckon the show stealers for the past couple of years have been Shihad, with the exception of the Foo Fighters they blew everyone off stage. Muse was awesome as well
