Who likes David Letterman??

Does anyone watch David Letterman''s late sho at win a bit past midnight?? It's very entertaining and is worth a look. just a tip.

The guy's a drop-kick.

The heart surgery (?) he had about a year ago, seems to have effected his brain's operating capacity; not that he was too much better prior to the surgery.

That cueball sidekick of his makes me sick to my guts. His voice, his looks, his presence...

Ah well...it could be worse. We could have Steve Vizard making a return to late night TV. :roll:

Blade may not be but I'm a fan. At times his attempts at humor can make you cringe but on the whole its a good hours entertainment and he manages to pull all the big stars and musical acts.

The only good aspect of the show is the star pulling power and the send up's he does. Apart from that, it's the same old stagnant formula every night.

I love David Letterman's humour. He is so much better than the competition, Jay Leno. His sidekick/bandleader, Paul Shaeffer, is Canadian, so watch it.

When a show is on 5 nights a week, it's hard not to have a "stagnant formula". But I think he avoids it by onstantly poking fun at the talk show formula and at tv itself.

This came up on thread on LWOS long ago, but has anyone here ever seen the Larry Sanders Show? It was a hilarious sitcom about a fictional talk show similar to Letterman and Leno's.

The only part worth watching is the "Words of Wisdom from Doctor Phil". They play a small piece of footage from the show and it is usually something like "Shut up" or "You're not listening to me"

i love david letterman usually stay up till 1am and watch him everynight, the only other late night show that i love more then david is conan obrians he is a comic genius

I love letterman, but i hate that Paul Schaffer - he is not funny and is just iritating. The worst thing about the letterman show though is the incessant clapping, the crowd claps anything and everything and is really bloody annoying, if they got rid of that it would be one of my favourite shows.
