he's getting old yes i dont like him and yes he has been good but we should show more faith in tanielu and kaufusi plus i think kirk is just as good at prop and robbo is a better prop than 2nd rower

Well he is signed for 2005 and will play for us in 2005 whether you like it or not, I suggest you get used to that idea.

Robbie Tanielu is going to be huge. I do agree though Kaufusi hasn't impressed me one bit.

We already lack depth in te fowards, so if Chan is let go its going to be pretty desperate stuff. Lets just hope we can sign some gun fowards with Howes money.

Release; Howe, Moala, McFadden, Williams, Orford - unless he pulls his head in & Ben MacDougall who is keeping out the youngsters who can build a career with Melbourne. Something MacDougall won't be able to do.

How many off them are still under contract as we would have to pay them even if if they get picked up by another club. I would prefer that they are Storm players and being paid by us and being at the club.

And Craig I've been talking to some Parra fans and Tim Smith is definatlyoff contract.

Well he turned as down once to say for Parramatta.

BTW what should we do about Marty Turner? Is he contracted by the Storm or by Norths?

I'm not sure which ones are off contract. But obviously you don't want to go releasing players still under contract.

Im a little disapointed Bellamy hasnt givin Tanuilu and Kaufusi more game time this season.

Kafusi wasn't great in the couple of games he did play. He was ok without being fantastic. I think he would have got more chances this season, but he was dropped for disciplinary reasons and has struggled to get a look in since. He failed to turn up at a compulsory recovery session if I remember correctly

He was better than Kaufusi though, and I'm sure he would do better than Howe.

Just remembered that King and Hoffman signed 2 year deals earlier this year after Bellamy resigned.

Kaufusi is signed until the end of 2005, the Storm had high hopes with him but so far have been disappointed, hence his playing for Norths.

It's been a while since I saw Tanielu play, I think his defence needed work.

Sione? Funny you mention him, after training yesterday I asked the Storm's football manager how Sione Finefeuiaki is going. The response was "slowly". Whilst he has great strength and power he lacks a bit in tackling technique.

Alex Chan is a good player, his main problems in the past, as I understand it, is his run of injury problems and the odd high tackle (actually it's quite likely those two problems may be related).

Get rid of McFadden..the guy is injury prone and is a waste of salary cap. Storm should never have signed him in the first place with his history !!.

Rodney Howe has to go...he does nothing and is not worth the cash. See ya later Needles !!.

Moala..not NRL standard and never will be.

Re-sign: Kearney to lead the team, Chan and most importantly sign David Kidwell who has been the player of the season so far.

Agree with everthing Kia ora said. If Melbourne re-signs McFadden, I will be very, very suprised.

Whoever thinks we should get rid of Alex Chan needs their heads read, straight-jacketed and put in a padded cell ASAP. Chan kicks arse! What about that break he made against the Tigers that lead to a try...maybe 5 years ago Rodney Howe coulda done that!

Simple:

He is down the pecking order. Remember after last years horrific injury toll, there was a silver lining in it all is that it created heaps of depth and thus competition for places.

He would require Chan, Kearns, Howe, Reynoldson to fall down injuried.

DISCLAIMER: I take no legal responsibility for any jinx's that maybe caused as a result.

Alex Chan's 50 metre barge over about 5 Warriors last night should be sufficient evidence that he is a good player.

Oh, and with the above names, we gotta sign DJ as well.
