Who was better?

We have been debating this at work, me and a few of the boys are of the opinion that Michael Hutchence was the best, but a few of the guys rate this JD Fortune fella higher than him so im just curious on everyone else's thoughts...
IMO Michael Hutchence was a great singer and this JD fortune guy wouldnt be in the position he is in without him, in saying that, how are we to know that if roles were reverses and JD Fortune was always in INXS, would they have had the same success??

Mate, i was of exactly the same opinion, but after talking to a few of the people from work, i wasnt so sure, a few of them hated Hutchence but now love INXS just because of this new fella. Thats what made me curious in the first place.

Hutchinson was the one and only lead singer of INXS. This other bloke I reckon will leave the band and should start his own. He is talented thats for sure. However is following in the footsteps/shadow of something he will never achieve.

I bought their new album anyway, and it is good. However it will never work. never.
