Peach: did nothing ...talked it up all week about injecting himself and playing a more attacking role. but all i saw was peach circa 2003 ...dissapointing.

Noddy: Incumbent Australian halfback. By his lofty standards, pizz poor..

Bit tough on Saleh there, DS. I've had a good night's sleep to get over it now.
I guess my judgements are pretty much the same. Bird and McGoldrick did not impress. Lomu's early defence was good but his late fumble was a major contributing factor to our loss. Bailey made some good breaks but did not capitalise. Kimmorley's kicks nearly all had poor results.
Overall, our backline had little thrust and our forwards went missing at times.
But I think we may as well just forget about next week. I watched the Dogs and they were AWESOME. Everything they did turned to gold.
Let's concentrate on Manly. We need more thrust in the backline. Merritt, Vagana and Franze should provide that.
5/8 is a BIG, BIG, problem when it shouldn't be. I've watched Aitken over the years and he has ball play talents most blokes only dream about. My only reservation is that he seems to be a bit fragile. But, with what we have, I'd give him the spot tomorrow.
One of my biggest disappointments was McGoldrick. I expected better after his Union stint, but it was the same old McGoldrick.

3. Mcgoldrick (have fun in PL)
2. Bird (we know you can step try passing)
1. Kimmorley (very little involvement by his standards and worst kicking display I've seen from him)

Peachey was looking to get more involved but just didnt have the angled runners. Have to admit I didnt share quite as much enthusiasm in Galloway as some of you guys for an 18 year old, he will be a rep player.

I too was expecting McGoldrick to be better. Maybe he needs a few more games after his union stint.
I thought Lomu was going ok but when he knocked on the ball from dummy half with 11 mins to go I got the feeling it would cost us the game. A bit like when Steve Waugh said to the South African player in the World Cup Cricket Semi Final-"son you've just dropped the world cup."
Maybe not as big but it had the same effect.

they were all piss poor but i actually thought lomu played well without that dropped ball. He made huge metres everytime he hit the ball up and was dangerous.

1. the game plan ( nothing has changed, its still way to flat and boring

and i wreckon most of the team played aswel as they were aloud by the bloody game plan espescially the backs. They had no room to bloody move, they were set apon by tacklers and the forwards were average maybe a little bit lackluster but acceptable

2.Bird
3. Kimmorley - was pretty shit, added nothing to attack, all he did was his stupid inside balls that just go nowhere, everyone knows what is happening we need depth in our plays!!!!!!!!

It was the one knock on out of the 43 that cost us.
11 mins to go we really needed the football. Next scorer was going to win and an error in your own half was going to cost. (either side).
I dont know about anyone else but I got the feeling we were gone when it happened.
Going by Lomu's reaction he knew too.

I thought Lomu had more impact then most of your forwards :?

McGoldrick is crap, how he was picked over Franze i will never know

Franze and Vagana should be your centres

Cheers,
