Who was our worst?

i am still wondering how that one knockon cost us the game while the other 43 didnt?

It gave the Tigers the ball 25 metres out in excellent field position. The Tigers scored the winning try in the next set of six. If Lomu holds on to it we get to our kick, and keep the Tigers pinned in their own half, with less than ten minutes to go. Jeez, even Lomu himself recognised his knock on as a crucial error. It's not rocket science Miller's Nose. The other knock ons seemed to occur just as we were about to launch an attack deep inside the Tigers territory.

yes but what about the other dozens of knockons?

did they have no effect on the game?

and of our inability to score points?

was that not a factor?

Yeah you are right, Miller's Nose, all that contributed to a disappointing perfomance. However, the Tigers never really looked like scoring in the second half, until Lomu knocked on.

I thought we had gained the ascendancy at that stage. Stevens and Galloway were getting a roll on. The mistake just blew the wind out of our sails. If I had to name a turning point, Lomu's knock on would have to be it.

well i would name
bailey running into touch on the 2nd tackle
noddy kicking the ball dead on 3 occasions
bailey hogging the ball and stiffling attack on 5 occasions
gallen knocking on while we were in attack
gallen giving away penalties leading up to their first try
peacheys failure to position himself to get their kicks
peacheys failure to ground the ball leading to their try
beatties knock on
isemongers knock on
mcgoldricks knock on

just off the top of my head as "turning points"

I was asking last week where the McGoldrick bandwagon came from?

Would the people who have been clamouring all over it for the past few weeks let us know?

I actually though Bird played pretty well last night.
Sure he just steps off his left foot and goes for it, but there were plenty of times he was half through, looked to offload, and there was no-one with him.

If WE all know what he is going to do, and the opposition seem to know, why don't his support players?

Talk about a waste of space mcgoldick - he was crap before and after brownosing steve rogers he is back in the side. Bird - ummm duck season is now open and bailey, see you in june trying to get 200k from another club.

I mst say though that stevens was great as too galloway. They made a bad night okay

While these guys play as individuals instead of as a team then I am simply going to blame the lot of them.

1. Sharks
2. Tigers
3. Daley (Hopeless)

Peach: did nothing ...talked it up all week about injecting himself and playing a more attacking role. but all i saw was peach circa 2003 ...dissapointing.

Noddy: Incumbent Australian halfback. By his lofty standards, pizz poor..

Are you kidding cheese, Peachey did plenty. Gifted the Tigers 2 tries and threw countless stupid passes. Definitely worst on ground in a game with plenty of poor performances.

Funny after the bagging they have received that Saleh and Rieck were our best last night.

I take back what I said about Saleh. He was always having a dig and I was happy with his performance.

Lomu played the worst game ive seen in first grade in the past 5 years.... Everyone talks about the 'One' knock on, but guys interesting stats if you watch the game again. He didnt have many hit-ups and the ones he took he only held onto the ball three times in all of them. (And im not includiong the dummy half fumble as a hit-up, for the fact he did nothing).

Peachey and Kimmorly were very disappointing, neither of them played to their ability
