Interesting that if Bulldogs finish 1st and Roosters 2nd and both win in week 1 they play there GF qualifiers at home. With Canterbury at Telstra and Roosters at SFS.

They would have to be favourites. Penrith and Brisbane could have been phsycologically scarred this weekend. Saints are the lurkers and could be hard to toss if they come 4th. If the top 4 (Iexpect Saints to finish 4th) make it through to the GF Qualifiers it will most likely be Saints v Bulldogs and Roosters v Broncos. I think the GF will come from those 4 sides. If the finals pan out with favourites winning finishing second might not be too bad afterall.

LOL, you obviously weren't at the game last night. Scoring 6 tries in freezing gale force winds wasn't a bad effort but Saints have plenty of improvement in them.

I don't care who Saints play in the Grand Final...

Regardless of today's result, I'll stick by my original prediction - Dogs v Broncos. Roosters haven't put together a solid 80 minutes for a long time.

you'd have to be nuts not to have roosters in the grand final. in my opinion, they're better than they were last year. sure, they're not at top form now, but when they are, i think they're easily the best team in the comp. and that includes the bulldogs. it'd be awesome if the bulldogs go win every match from here, and meet the roosters in the grand final. potential to be the best GF ever, especially considering its the "GF that never was".

Assuming the ladders stays as is, the only way Dogs can play the Dragons in the final is if one of them drops a game in the first week of the semis.

IMO, the dogs will do their usual finals trick and get done by the Dragons. Roosters vs Dragons for mine.
